We look after over 55 hotels here in the UK & Ireland, and have come a long way since we opened our first hotel in Ireland back in 1993! With approximately 5,000 employees and multiple brands we are a dynamic, innovative and fast-growing company.

During Thank You Week we shower our employees with sweet treats, personalised card thank you cards, themed team lunches, spa treatments; you name it, we’ve done it!

Room to Reward is a small charity making big waves in the hospitality and voluntary sectors to recognise the importance of – and say thank you to – the inspirational volunteers who give up their time to help others. We at Leonardo Hotels are one of their very proud partners!
Some of our unsold and therefore unused hotel rooms are donated to Room to Reward as an opportunity to give a big ‘thank you’ break to someone who truly deserves some recognition. Hidden Heroes are nominated by Room to Reward’s charity partners, who can then enjoy a well-deserved break at the destination of their choice. This partnership allows us to put our unsold rooms to use in the most fantastic way: we have most recently welcomed Hidden Heroes volunteering with the Irish Cancer Society, SIBS and the Rainbow Trust to various Leonardo Hotels across the UK & Ireland.
We love giving back and doing our bit for the community. We hold yearly Charity Challenges where each of our hotels and head offices get involved. The Challenges we do change every year – we like to keep things exciting!
The most recent Challenge we held was Tour de Leo in support for our charity partners Mind, SAMH, Inspire and Pieta. Each hotel and head office raised funds and donations in various ways; from bake sales, auctions and hikes right through to a 24-hour sleep out in central London!
Along with all the fantastic things we do as a group, we also get involved with our local charities to support the community. Our team members and hotels have shown their support by donating toys to local children’s hospitals at Christmas and distributing food to local food banks.
Over the past few years, and especially during the COVID-19 crisis, demands for urgent action on climate change have amplified. Consumers, businesses, and governments recognise the need to accelerate global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prevent the destruction of the natural world. The Fattal Hotel Group shares this sense of urgency. With Europe as a homebase, with its individual target markets and unique characteristics, it was decided to develop a personalised sustainability strategy for Leonardo Hotels Group.
The awards certification programme run by Green Tourism recognises the commitment of tourism businesses which are actively working to become more sustainable. Green Tourism promotes greener ways for businesses and organisations to operate, and we are pleased to say that we are accredited in all of our hotels across the UK and Ireland.
